If I lock the session, I cannot activate it for the simple reason that I cannot type my password because the sign-in box doesn't accept any keyboard input. I can move the mouse cursor and click on "Switch user" and then on "Start a new session" so that I can finally type my password.

The same annoyance naturally happens also when I suspend. Is this a problem connected with my particular laptop?

Ubuntu beats Pardus hands down in the liveliness of its forums, but I'm not going to switch back:-)

More seriously, the problem is wider than I had noticed: it turns out I cannot even enter "Administrator Mode" in Tasma because I cannot enter my password there, either...

Hm. AFAIK, this problem was fixed in test repository. I'll check and inform you.
