Oviously not possible, I work for this big multinational with very strict IT controls.
So I thought: I buy a new 2.5 drive, change the laptop drive, install Pardus on my new drive and, when I want, I just switch the drives (it takes about 32 seconds to do so).
Good idea? Bad idea?
My old laptop with Pardus on it has been given by my girlfriend to her mate because the latter could not afford to buy her own...

Sounds like you will get in lots of problems with Grub, there is no tailor made USB/external disk version.
I am looking forward to read your experiences  Smiley

Hum, sorry, maybe I did not explain myself properly:
I will unscrew and take out the physical drive with windows from the laptop and screw in and put in the new drive.
When I need to switch between the two, I do this in reverse.
Will that create problems? Since GRUB will only be on the Pardus drive and not the windows one, that should be fine?

I must admit that it sounds like a great idea! Maybe you can first try if everythings works as it should with the LiveCD before installing Pardus.

So I finally managed to do it and it works perfect!
It takes less than a minute to change the drive, and I have Pardus on my laptop.
Pointless but brilliant.
