Ever struggled with page numbering in OpenOffice.org (i.e. configuring page number fields in header or footer) ?

I did.

Now I noticed this nice extension which makes Page Numbering a lot easier in OpenOffice.org and thought let's share the idea  Grin Grin

Look for the so-called Pagination extension.

In the current version there is one extra option which is not shown on this example picture, and that is a pull-down menu for adjusting the type of numbering (1,2,3... or I,II,III, or a,b,c etcte etc)

This is now a standard feature as of Ooo 3.0 so the extension does not have to be installed afterwards anymore (I noticed when installing Ooo 3.0 on my WinXP laptop)
