Hallo,

the program "getmail" does not start.

What can I do?

Could you open a console and write "getmail", it should write something. If so, could you paste the output of it?

PS: You can open console by pressing ALT+F2 and writing "konsole"

Why don't you use another program? If I am wrong, please correct me , I think there is an email notifier for kde. I don't know it's name but I believe it's an applet.

yes, that is correct. The name is "Korn" but I don`t find it in the Paket-Manager.
