Tor(K) -PardusFirewall Guarddog and Knazar

hi,

1# does anybody use Tork?!
tork is a gui for tor - its the jap-thing known by windows but for linux

how will i get it to run well?

2# the pardus-firewall what does it handle? and where can i have a overview about the settings of pardusfirewall

3# i compiled guarddog - it runs well i think but does it make some conflicts with pardus-firewall

4# knazar - i ve seen a thread to Knazar - but has it a function? besides some kind of spiritual things?

for Tork you look in the following Thread by PCLinuxOS

The Thread is in German but you are a German.

The pardus-firewall-settings you find in Tasma > Internet & Networking > Firewall Configuration

I think, the Pardus-Firewall is very good and you don`t need Guarddog. You can test your ports here

For KNazar I found the following:

KNazar is stoping to protect your Pardus Linux from harmfull looks...  (English)
KNazar hört auf Ihr Pardus Linux vor schädlichen Blicken zu schützen...(German)

When you start KNazar you find a symbol in the Control-Panel and you can start and stop the protection with a right-click.

thanks for your reply tork is running i think but maybe i will rm it anyway...
didnt use jap in windows... so it was a little test (read about tork in LinuxUser)

but guarddog i think is more tranparent than the pardus firewall
i can see what guarddog is blocking and allowing (pop3 pop3sl and netbios and so on) in pardusfirewall i dont see such things in detail....
i was used to guarddog so i like it and will use it anyway!
So there is still my Question- what does PardusFirewall handle? Where can i see the details (in raw-or-Console-Modus?)

Knazar well, it is a resource eating app for fun or does it protect the pc? like a monitor which alerts me when somebody hacks my pc?

So more replies are welcome....

I think, when you deactivate the Pardus-Firewall you will not have a conflict with "Guarddog".
