I would like to upgrade Pardus from 2008 to 2008.1 rc1.  Where can I find documentation describing the process of upgrading over the net.

I would like to perform what in Debian would be a dist-upgrade.  I need to know the files to change so that Pisi updates to the latest release instead of just updating the current release.

You implement an update/upgrade with the following instruction in the console:

Today you can upgrade directly to Pardus 2008.1, the RC was not stable!

Thanks Andreas and others.  Now I can no longer install the RC :'(  I wanted to help with testing.  Oh well, now I will test the final release.

I added the pardus 2008.1 repository but I can't add the 2008.1 contrib.  What is the location of the contrib directory.  I think I have everything except what the contrib directory is called.  In 2008 it was called "contrib-2008" but "contrib-2008.1" won't work.

I did scan the forums for information before posting but I was looking for a 2008.1 specific post.  I think we need a 2008.1 specific post similar to this one http://worldforum.pardus-linux.nl/index.php?topic=1201.msg8046#msg8046

Maybe just change the title to this thread to "upgrading to 2008.1"

The "contrib-2008" is also called "contrib-2008" in Pardus 2008.1 and the same one.

In order to add the Repos look in this Thread
