Since installing to Pardus 2008 (and Firefox 3), every time I launch Firefox it opens in non-maximized mode.  Is there any way to correct this so that it starts in maximized mode (not full screen but maximized)?

After fist start of Firefox you should maximized it and that should it be.

By next start of Firefox he should started maximized.  Wink

Should be but it's not happening for me.  When I start Firefox in each session I always maximize it right off, and leave it maximized when I end the session.  But when I restart the computer & launch Firefox it is no longer in maximized mode.

I think I got it!  I hadn't thought of resizing the window.  So I started with it in non-maximized mode and dragged the window to the correct size.  Closed Firefox & then reopened and it was OK...fingers crossed LOL  Thanks for your help!
