I have figured out that you have to start the firewall every time after bootup.

Theres no chance to autostart it.

have you configurate the Firewall with Tasma?

Tasma > Network & Internet > Firewall-Configuration

Yes i configured the firewall through TASMA and through network setting , same way same bug.

hi

compile guarddog yourself but you might need a c-compiler (gcc)
you can download guarddog as tar.gz here:

Any news here? My firewall still comes inactivated after reboot, though I checked it on Tasma.

Ok, I see that is considered resolved but that's not true on my system and presume that others are having some problem, as seen in last comment of the bug report.

in the Test-Repo of Pardus 2008 you find a new package of firewall-config

I think, with that package the problem should be solved.
