Desktop project aims make desktop environment more user-friendly, with softwares like TASMA (Control Center) and Kaptan (welcome screen).


Kaptan Desktop

Kaptan Desktop is an application program which helps to users when Pardus desktop enviroment works for the first time. While Kaptan giving the general information about Pardus, program also will set some default configuration for a better desktop.


TASMA

TASMA is a graphical configuration interface which will work with the infrastructure of COMAR in the future. TASMA also may work with the choosen desktop enviroment KDE by using KControl modules

TASMA is the sum of infrastructure where modules are able to edit the pardus system by requirements , manage and show the modules.

Why not to show by default the extra modules in TASMA settings?  Smiley

Because, we don't want tasma to be sooo crowded with extra modules. You can simply enable extra modules via Settings / Show extra modules (or something like that)

Are there any options to show all modules by default - like "Tasma Settings" ...?

What about future features of Tasma (road-map ...); Will tasma get new module (i.e. modules for Scanner, Webcam configuration ...)
