Hello,

with Gscan2pdf you can produce a multipage PDF or DjVu from a scan.

http://gscan2pdf.sourceforge.net/

A pisi package from it would be great and I wrote it to the Bug-Team.

Andreas, I wondered, is that  (in part) not already possible using xsane and then saving the scanend image in PDF format?
Or does this application add additional features to this conversion?

Hello Michiel,

I don`t find the option in xsane or kooka to save that in PDF-format.

Greetings
Andreas

Well I just did so, that's why I asked.

In Xsane when you have scanned a page you can choose to save it. In the "save window" you can apart from filename and destination also specify with which extension you would like to save the just scanned file, e.g. JPG, TIFF, but amongst these also PDF (I am not sure but this extension can be specified at the left bottom of the page for saving).
