Hello,

I`m running Pardus 2008 and there is 1 little thing that bothers me sometimes, i can`t figure out what the problem is.

When i want to send an url out of firefox it doesnt start up any mailclient.
i also cant send mails from a website ( mailto:....)
In about:config it shows that the network.protocol-handler.app.mailto is kmail-firefox.
I tried to change it in kmail but it didnt work.

Anyone has an idea how to solve this little issue?

Let's hope it will be, but for the Firefox team, integration with KDE applications is not a priority, and the same is true of the KDE team towards Firefox, which is a GNOME application...

Yep Mozilla are aware of it and don't look like touching it... it's been raised in a few bug reports for firefox3 but they're all being marked as duplicates of an old bug that's still showing as resolved invalid. The workaround they mention in the bug report doesn't work for ff3 either.

You can build gnome-control-center and all it's dependencies but that's complete overkill. There's a slackware thread with possible solutions that I might have a play with tomorrow.

Sounds great.

I hope there will be no other new issues after updating to 2008.1 release ;-)
