Why are Nvidia drivers 173.14.12 slow in Pardus?

I have a system with AMD Athlon 64 Dual Core 6400+, 2GB RAM, and 512MB Nvidia Geforce 8800GT video card.  I have tried several distros and the Nvidia 173.14.12 drivers have always been fast on my system.  But in Pardus they are slow for some reason.  For example, if I move a window around quickly, there are "trails" behind it.  Or is I open up pictures in Gwenview, they take a extra second to fully display, they don't display instantly like in all the other distros I tried (with Gwenview). 

How can this problem with the Nvidia drivers be fixed?

Same here, I am one of pardus' victims too . A few months ago I pointed out this slowness of pardus too. None of users in here believed in me . I remember that I said ubuntu runs much faster than pardus. As it's clear that it's a problem of not correctly handling of nvidia drivers .

Pardus's New Nvidia drivers are definitely slower than any other distro I have tried.  And I know it's not my computer causing the problem because I have tried many other distros and my computer's graphics performance has been great with those distros.  I really hope this issue is fixed soon.
