Remaster/Live-CD/DVD

I have read all forums in the Wish forum area regarding Live-CD/Remastersys Backup/Restore image program...ie..remastersys.

I was wondering if there has been any solid creation made of it in/on/for Pardus 2008?  It really is a Great program and a needed one by those who use Linux distro's. 

I would like to see Pardus developers to please consider placing the tools necessary to make this utility possible.  The junky backup program packages that are available are seldomly used and just dont do any good for a compact/complete/full backup and restore of the whole linus system.  Live-CD/Remastersys Backup is one of the best utilities out there these days that users just love for Linux.

sure there is one but first the app "pisibul" must be in repo and it isnt yet.

Pardus Remasterapp is called Pardusman it must compiled with pisibul from svn.
We all waiting for it....

And about the Backup/Restore image program .............  Here is my tip: 

Download and burn "pmagic-2.2.iso" (45MB) on a CD. (use google to find it)
This is a live-CD.
Do NOT use pmagic-3.0.iso (will not start on every computer).
Use Emelfm2 to mount/unmount a partition.
Use PCman to copy partition/file link (/root/media/hdx/filename) to clipboard.
The backup/restore program is called Partition Image.
The partition to save/restore should NOT be mounted.
The partition on which to create/use the image file should be mounted.
Navigation in Partition Image is via a combination of Tab, space-bar, Enter, arrow-keys, F5 and F6.
With Xfburn you can store your backup to CDR(W).
With TestDisk you can restore lost partition tables and more ...
With GParted you can modify hard disk/partition.

Yes, That is the way I have done in the past before I found and used REMASTERSYS program. This program makes other methods seem like the dinosaur age. Remastersys just has all you could want and need and contains the OS and it's entirety  exactly as was when it was imaged. So even if you blow away your entire hard drive OS or you want to put the distro image backup on another PC you can. Pmagic just creates images of your partitions and thats it. If you somehow deleted everything from hard drive or had a problem in Linux that restoring a partition just did not fix then you are no better than before you backed up your partitions. I had it happen twice. since I used Remastersys program I had nothing but whole complete distro duplication creations on any PC I choose.
