And about the Backup/Restore image program ............. Here is my tip:

Download and burn "pmagic-2.2.iso" (45MB) on a CD. (use google to find it)
This is a live-CD.
Do NOT use pmagic-3.0.iso (will not start on every computer).
Use Emelfm2 to mount/unmount a partition.
Use PCman to copy partition/file link (/root/media/hdx/filename) to clipboard.
The backup/restore program is called Partition Image.
The partition to save/restore should NOT be mounted.
The partition on which to create/use the image file should be mounted.
Navigation in Partition Image is via a combination of Tab, space-bar, Enter, arrow-keys, F5 and F6.
With Xfburn you can store your backup to CDR(W).
With TestDisk you can restore lost partition tables and more ...
With GParted you can modify hard disk/partition.
