If I were to have my list:
1. Pardus (for obvious reasons... lol)
2. SliTaz (Very small memory footprint)
3. Gobuntu (completely free and easy to use, but with the option to install firmware)
4. OpenSolaris (contribute to a relatively small community > its like rebuilding Linux)
5. =gNewSense (completely free, but the no firmware rule will deter many users)
5. = Nexenta (Solaris kernel, Ubuntu interface, its an interesting project)
