This is a very nice and easy-to-use GUI for contributing to the OpenStreetMap
project. You can edit your own GPS tracklogs and process the GPS data into
creating new roads or adjusting existing map data for the OpenStreetMap
project.
One can download and upload to the OSM server using this editor.

Would be nice to have a PISI compiled from the source file
(Merkaartor-0.11.tar.bz2 currently but 0.12 seems on its way). Note that you
need a Qt 4.2 development environment to compile Merkaartor.

Merkaartor has been added to the contrib repository. After the buildfarm
compiles it, you'll be able to see it in the package-manager/pisi. This may
take 1 or 2 days.
