I have 2 USB sticks (125MB and 1GB).
With the 1GB stick I don't have any problem in Pardus2007.3 and 2008.1.
Gparted and lsusb show:

Gparted Device Information:
   Model: USB 2.0 Flash Disk
   Size: 983.28 MiB
   Path: /dev/sda
   DiskLabelType: msdos (fat32)
   Heads: 32
   Sectors/Track: 62
   Cylinders: 1015
   Total Sectors: 2013760

Bus 001 Device 002: ID 1307:0163 Transcend Information, Inc. 512MB USB Flash Drive
512MB ??

The problem is with the 125MB stick.
In Pardus 2007.3 I can read/write the 125MB stick, however in 2008.1 I cann't read/write the stick.
When I insert the stick  in Pardus2008.1 nothing happens.
Gparted and lsusb info in Pardus 2007.3:

Bus 001 Device 003: ID 13e0:2515
Gparted and lsusb info in Pardus2008.1:

Gparted device not visible.

Bus 001 Device 004: ID 13e0:2517

Any idee how to solve this problem or a bugreport?
Are there more people with this problem?

More info:
I did notice that I can mount/read/write the 125MB stick when I have it inserted during the start-up of Pardus2008.1
It apparently has to do with some kind of initialization script?  Huh?

Hi atolboo,

You can create a link to the USB key on your desktop (right-click on the wallpaper > create a new > link to a device > hard drive).
Maybe you can mount it that way.

No, unfortunately I think this is only going to work when it has a mounting point in /etc/fstab.
After a restart it is visible (unmounted) in sysinfo:/ with a apparaatknooppunt (device point?) /dev/sdb1
After mounting the contents is shown in media:/sdb1
When I make hard drive link to /dev/sdb1 on the desktop and try to mount I get  "mount: can't find media:/sdb1 in etc/fstab or /etc/mtab'
