atolboo, now that, I did know about.
If I had to add anything in general about all package managers I have tried, including the terminal based aptitude, is the ability to use "page down" , "page up" or the up or down arrow keys to scan through the packages instead of using the scroll wheel on my mouse or clicking on the side bar arrows or slider bar on the screen using my mouse. I do remember aptitude had short cut keys for selecting and scrolling , but I don't think they included the arrow keys or page up/page down.
Now you're going to tell me how I can set up these keys to do this, right?
I'll have to look into it, seriously, as there probably is a way to do this. It's more comfortable for me to use the key board keys than the mouse.
