Greetings one and all, I'm Linuzoid, some of you might know me from the look.org sites I post a lot there. Sakasa a fellow artist there has open a new gallery and I have created my own, I'd like to invite everyone to browse my new gallery and download some wall papers I created just for Pardus. Sakasa also has an extended gallery.

Yes, I forgot the link here it is:
sakaksa's website:
Cooldesktoplook
Linuzoid's website:
Linuzoidart

Visit us and download a wallpaper or two. Wink
Linuzoid
BTW: Love the Pardus Logo.

Welcome Linuzoid, and thanks for creating the nice wallpaper for Pardus.  I did a a search and came up with this:

http://www.xfce-look.org/content/show.php/Pardus+PlexiLogo+Wallpaper?content=91500

I'd like to create a wallpaper, but don't know how.  I was thinking of putting my orange kitty in it - Tom Toots.  He's cute!

Nice work!  Keep it up!

Regards,
Lisa Marie

Lisa Marie, he is cute, reminds me in a way of Garfield, and everybody knows he's one cool cat. Cool

Amen, Garfield is the role model I never had as a child lol

Checked out your galleries, the Sakasa gallery is quite impressive Tongue

@ Lisa, take a high-resolution digital picture of your cat in desired pose. Upload the file to the computer, using GIMP (its what I'm used to), utilise the Intelli-Scissors feature and cut out your cat from that beckground, replace the background and you're done Smiley

Hi Linuzoid,

More great artwork!!

I admit, that cute cat with the snarl is not mine.  I will change him out to one of my own as I have six and a digital camera!  I got that picture from doing a search for "funny cat pictures".  I too am a big fan of Garfield.

Thanks again Mhmrcs, as I will try that.  I have a picture of my cat that I really like and would like a dimmed down colour of the Pardus boot splash screen.  I will give it a try.  Again, thank you!

Lisa, I heartily recommend inkscape if you're like me and not artistic by nature. I watched a few screencasts and found it pretty intuitive, I'd check out http://screencasters.heathenx.org/ if you do decide to investigate it.

Yea, sakasa is one of the best out there, and all those names he comes up with, sheesh, I had it hard enough naming my dog.LOL Still in my view the Linux communities are lucky to have such a talented artist working for them (for free).

If its one thing we need in linux, its more artists... The entire graphical interface of Linux (more so KDE in my opinion) must be remade into something crisper and cleaner.

KDE 4 is far more advanced, and better looking than GNOME, but I still don't like the bundled apps and the overall bulkiness of it - its still a huge step in the right direction, far better than GNOME, but I still prefer something like LXDE, XFCE etc.

I just posted a new theme called Technico-Pro. The KDE theme consists of a wallpaper (1600x1200), a Moodin splash screen, KDM theme, and a K3b Theme. The GNOME theme consists if a wallpaper (1600x1200), a GDM theme, and a splash screen. The Xfce theme consists of a wallpaper (1600x1200) and a simple engine splash screen. You can find theme at their respective Look sites (KDE-look.org. GNOME-look.org and Xfce-look.org) Just do a search for Technico-Pro.

Enjoy and peace.
