Is it possible to uninstall, and then reinstall the PISI -gui? It has started to lock itself when I install something. The command- line works though.

You might try to rebuild the PISI database, which might speed things up a bit again:

In Konsole:
Code:
pisi rebuild-db

and if you like:
Code:
pisi delete-cache

Furthermore:

Removing Locks
clean command is used in order to delete outdated locks.

Code:
pisi clean

Great advice Michiel, thanks. I had problems installing apps since I wasn't able to use the search function of the program - this fixed it Cheesy
