I am not familiar with DC++ but after some searching I noticed this in the Pardus repo, can this help you?

Valknut is a program that uses the Direct Connect protocol. It is compatible with other DC clients, such as the original DC from Neomodus, DC++ and derivatives. Valknut also interoperates with all common DC hub software.
Valknut was originally written by Mathias Küster and is licensed under the GNU GPL. It is written in C++ and uses the cross-platform Qt library for its GUI. Valknut compiles and runs on Linux, FreeBSD, Mac OS X, Microsoft Windows, and OS/2 - eComStation.
Originally, Valknut was called DCGUI, which unfortunately was similar to the name of another Linux DC client. It was then renamed to dcgui-qt to avoid confusion. However, trademark problems relating to the use of 'Qt' in the name forced another name change, to Valknut.
Following the release of Valknut 0.3.7, Mathias Küster stopped working on Valknut. Edward Sheldrake then moved the code into the wxDCGUI project, where work is underway to add additional features, as well as to port Valknut's Qt3 user interface to Qt4 and eventually to wxWidgets. In may 2008 the first Qt4 version was released.
During startup, the graphics of the splash screen shows a Valknut.

And The Valknut Project
http://wxdcgui.sourceforge.net/About
Valknut is an open source cross platform client for the Direct Connect network.
Valknut only supports the old (but common) Direct Connect "protocol".
Unfortunately it has no support for the much better ADC protocol from the DC++ team. If you need an ADC client, try something based on the DC++ core like LinuxDC++.
Unfortunately, due to changes in recent versions of DC++ (>= 0.696), valknut 0.3.7 is no longer usable, because DC++ will be unable to download from valknut. TTHL support is also required these days, so valknut 0.3.8 is out too.
The source code used in this project started from the 0.3.7 release from the no longer present dcgui.berlios.de site.
Dclib and Valknut are distributed under the terms of the GNU General Public License, either version 2 of the License, or (at your option) any later version. With additional permission for using the OpenSSL library.
