I am on an Aspire One, and some others around are on the EEE PC. We have a small screen
This extension makes the menubar go away and gets you a bit more screen space. Just put the icon next to your other navigation icons and you can do without the menubar.

These are my additions to firefox to really make a small navigation bar:
