 Embarrassed
 Wink

Option other: go outside to let Cora (our adopted Germ. Sherpherd) off porch, let the three hens out of the pen, feed six cats, make coffee, (no sugar or milk, please), boot up Pardus, eat cereal or enjoy a fry up, go sit down at computer and have a giggle over some of the posts here.   Grin

@Lisa

Your mornings sounds very unstressed and full of rural simplicity! Guess I could get used to a life like that.
Option other
Rush to kindergarten with our daughter (late as always), after that to the university. There, I get my first coffee (with milk), and the first snus (swedish tobacco) and then I boot up Pardus and check the forum.

@atolboo, Well, then, I'll have another cup.  Thank  you!

@MitraMai, yes it is peaceful and secluded.

Mornings have been a bit different of late, as cold weather has arrived, so I usually get up when our cat, Cloe wants out, which is very early in the morning, and put another log in the woodstove, and then back to bed.

This morning, a change: let the girls out of the pen, and since I made English muffins yesterday, I had a toasted buttered muffin sprinkled with Parmesan, and hot cocoa with cinnamon, whisked to a froth. (take a whisk and spin it between your hands).  Delicious combination.

Someday, Mhmrcs!

Some would dislike living here - too many bugs, no city noises, no sidewalks, owls hooting, coyotes howling at night, cicadas and katydids droning in the summer... Cheesy

a new day, a new Pardus distribution (2008.2) and so I booted up Pardus first, followed by hard-cooked egg and a home made bagel, and coffee with crushed cardamon seed added to filter basket.

ha waf, today I need to clean out the hen house.  Do you still envy me?  :'( Actually, I am after the manure.  Put it in a bucket, add some water, let it "steep" in the sun for a few days, and use it to water your flowers and other plants.  I learned this trick from my brother, who as a teenager, used to work for an egg production house/ranch in California.

I worked a couple years at a bagel shoppe, so I know how to make bagels.  The ones from the store are like soft Wonder bread with a hole in the middle Tongue so I make my own.

You have cardamon seeds, right?  Crush up about 8 seeds, and toss them in with your ground coffee - this would be for about 5 cups.  Delicious!

In the morning, if I'm with my kids the first thing I do is  breakfast for them, after taking them to school.
When I am not, the first thing I do is go out to work, fired!
