http://distrowatch.com/awstats/awstats.DistroWatch.com.osdetail.html

According to statistics there are 81325 hits of the main site of distrowatch made by computers with Pardus OS installed, whereas computers with Kubuntu, Linspire/Freespire, Sabayon Linux, VectorLinux, Xubuntu, Puppy Linux, Red Hat, Arch Linux installed have made less hits. Pardus seems to be much more used than them Grin
On the other hand, all of the mentioned distros have better rank in the page hit ranking than Pardus(it is in the 54 place this week). Am I the only one who smeels conspiracy here?

Ladislav has retired from writing Distrowatch, so it will be interesting what editorial line is taken in the future. There have been criticisms in the past regarding the coverage of distros. The Ubuntu family seemed to do rather well, Gentoo did not etc.

Personally, I would not be using Pardus had I not found it via Distrowatch.

AlanGB, same, Distrowatch is brilliant in keeping the Linux world in sync. Although that statistical fault does seem peculiar... lol. When did Ladislav retire? Sad

He's taken on Chris Smart as editor. So, yeah he's not actually retired, he's just taking a back seat.

Pardus each a height of 34 in recent weeks, but dropping back to 39. (Using the default 6month view)

DW has generally been quite positive to Pardus, imo. Ladisiav personally praised it when he tried it. Also when they did the package management summary sheet (http://distrowatch.com/weekly.php?issue=20081013#feature), he included pisi alongside the other major systems.
