Tied this, and it pulls in an alternative kernel "linux-pae" and when I try to boot that, I just get a black screen when X tries to start.
and then deleted his post.
My comment is: When I installed "module-broadcom-wl" and ""module-broadcom-wl-userspace", it did
not pull the alternative kernel "linux-pae".
But as I don't have the broadcom device , I can't test this "broadcom" package.
