Hi all,

I have three computers running Pardus 2008.1 and all of them seem to "suffer" from a strange sound delay. As you know, certain dialogs (usually warnings and errors) go accompanied by a sound -- i.e., the dialog comes up and a sound is played.

However, on all of my PCs when the dialog comes up, it takes about 1/2 second (I guess) before the sound is played. And believe me or not, it annoys the hell out of me.  Wink I am pretty certain that in Pardus 2007.x the sound played immediately when the dialog popped up. I'm guessing it must be some KDE setting, but I just can't seem to find it...
