Pardus 2008.1 (KDE3) uses gecko-mediaplayer for embedded media in web pages. This is all well and good, but using kmplayer-plugin instead (kmplayer as it is is compiled without the Mozilla plugin) would eliminate this bug completely.

It is also worth noting that

- gecko-mediaplayer does not work in Konqueror, while kmplayer-plugin should
- kmplayer just looks better on a KDE desktop

What a good idea !
So good, I think you should propose it as a suggestion for a future release of Pardus. Pardus bug webpage is also made for proposition of improvements, not only for bugs. So, a proposition that could solve bugs in the same time would be smashing !

Hmm. Before I submit the bug, can someone verify that kmplayer in fact has a mozilla plugin? I thought it did (the description says so at any rate) but some websites say it doesn't...
