Since some days I am unable to burn data DVD's!
I had no problem with this before, and I can still burn data-CD's.
When I burn a data DVD, it just says the disk is empty, altough I can see the data written on it (with my eyes that is).

Should I reinstall?

I had that exact problem yesterday afternoon - there was nothing in /media or Desktop etc. When the disc is inserted Pardus (by default) asks you with what you wish to open the DVD, K3B or "do nothing", choose K3B, and it will automatically recognise its contents - at least, thats what worked for me.

In the end it was a problem of the burner, replacing it solved the problem

That's worrying... if we have the same problem I may need to replace my optical drive also...

Can you give a link to the bug report of K3b?
Another method to check if it is a bug in K3b or a bad burner or a bad CD/DVD:
Make a *.iso file of the newly created CD/DVD.
Load this *.iso file in K3b and check the MD5sum with the MD5sum of the original .iso file.
If these values are equal it is probably a bug in K3b.
