Start and navigate with Firefox very fast.
Install sqlite3 and close Firefox.
execute this command:

#for f in ~/.mozilla/firefox/*/*.sqlite; do sqlite3 $f 'VACUUM;'; done

start Firefox... you can put this script week cron.

It's essentially compacting the databases (sqlite3) on firefox store data.
