[SOLVED]install Emesene?

Hi everyone,

i've installed Pardus to dual boot with osx on my macbook and i really like it, i think it's one of the best distro i've tried, everything works out of the box and it's very fast too!

I would like to know if it's possible to install emesene and if yes how, since i'm not very good at typing commands, i'm still a beginner when it comes to linux...

Hello and welcome axel,

emesene is available in the contrib repository. Just add this repository and install it via package-manager (configuration menu, repository tab).

Other method (to feel the power of the command line) :

1. Launch a terminal with the keyboard shortcut Alt-F2, type konsole, press ENTER key.

2. Copy/paste successively the following commands in the terminal that appeared :

sudo pisi ar contrib-2008 http://paketler.pardus.org.tr/contrib-2008/pisi-index.xml.bz2

Code:

sudo pisi it emesene

NB : sudo asks for your user password, which you type blindly in the terminal and validate by pressing the ENTER key.
