New to Pardus (and Linux) and I'm really impressed.  I can say I'll most likely being keeping this as my Operating System. Now that basically everything was detected, the only problem I'm having is with my video card.  I received a window telling me to install the Nvidia Driver for my card.  I opened the package manager, but found three different drivers (173, 177, and 180).  Which one should I use?

Card: Nvidia 9800m

Hello and welcome Hastings101,

You should try the newest nvidia driver, which is nvidia 180.

Hello and welcome Hastings101,

You should try the newest nvidia driver, which is nvidia 180.

After installing this, I noticed that the card didn't seem to be performing right.  After searching a little I found a way to check how it was performing using a command 'glxgears' inside the Terminal program.  For some reason, instead of the framerate being in the four or five thousands, it's only a constant 200.  Any chance you might know what's wrong?

Make sure nvidia driver is selected - instead of nv - in Display Manager (in Tasma > System) and reboot your computer.

Thank you so much! It's working perfectly now.
