Works for me too but not all channels are up and running apparently.
Horrible GUI though... Not user friendly for a bit...

Are you referring to SopCast Player? I wrote SopCast Player and would be interested to know if it needs improvement.

Cheers,

Hi Jason and welcome!
You are the author of the SopCast player? Congratulations!
My comments are referring to the .tgk link which nkok posted above. Is that the SopCast player? I did not think so?
Anyhow, it is nice to have you onboard! Does your player work on Pardus? Would you know how to make a .pisi our of the source?

No, SopCast Player is a separate initiative to bring sopcast to the everyday user. I was tired of using tools like sopcaster and qsopcast/gsopcast, their interfaces really did lack functionality that everyday users (like myself) expect.

To be honest I never heard of Pardus until about 10 minutes ago. I would be happy to create a package for pardus as long as there is a guide that will step me through how to make a package.

You might want to check the wiki (link on top of every forum page) on building PISi packages.

Alternatively you can offer your help by commenting in the bugreport I posted (http://bugs.pardus.org.tr/show_bug.cgi?id=9449) after you have created a bugzilla account there.

I am pleased to find you here in the Pardus Worldforum, feel welcome!

How did you find out about this topic/pardus so quickly?  Wink I only posted this morning!
What distro do you use?

Thanks for the offer, a pisi package would be awesome....

I use google analytics to monitor traffic on my projects page. It has some neat features like a map overlay of the visitors to the site as well as how users happened upon the site. That is how I found the forums, it showed up on the referring site list.
