Because my computer didn't change its time-setting when going from wintertime to summertime, I made this bug report.
For mor info see http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Daylight_saving_time

When I changed the NTP server to europe.pool.ntp.org I got the correct (adjusted) time, my previous date/time setting was Global Time Server (pool.ntp.org) and that one did not automatically adjust for Daylight Savings Time.

However I notice in the bug report by atolboo that his setting was already europe.pool.ntp.org, so apparently upon requesting you do get the right time from this server but the bug is that the correct server time is not requested/downloaded on a routine basis ?

I got the same problem.
Manually disabling and re-enabling the time sever solves the problem, but the time server should do it automatically.

Is there a command for synchronizing with the time server? Huh?

Thanks........
I will test if a file called timesync.cron in /etc/cron.daily with
Code:
#! /bin/sh

ntpdate -u europe.pool.ntp.org
will do the trick. This file will have the property x.
Result will follow...... ! Smiley

Edit: The above file does the trick on my netbook !  Grin Cheesy
