Would appreciate to find icecast and e.g. liveice or other programs that enable setting up a live streaming server in the Packages list for the next Pardus version.

You could then start your personal audio or video webstream from within your Pardus system

I am happy to inform you that some time after having requested a pisi package for Icecast by means of a bug report a working preliminary icecast-2.3.2.pisi package is meanwhile availeble.

For those of you who already want to set up an own Icecast streaming server up and running, just check the bug report as work is continuing on this.

Icecast is in stable Pardus repo now. You can download the needed pisi packages by Package Manager or from konsole with:

pisi it icecast
