Pardus Fonts

Viewing some web pages in firefox is unpleasant due to blurry fonts, I have upgraded the the fonts in repos with no change, any sugestions, thanks (newbie)

Changing View-Character encoding IN Firefox from e.g. Unicode-(UTF8) to Western-(windows1252) might help (it does for me, thanks for opening this topic, I wondered before why some chracters did not show up on webpages, but after changing the character encoding setting in Firefox this problem was solved for me)

It is more a Firefox specific settings problem than a Pardus problem (as sugegsted by the topic title)

This is one reason I stick with Konqueror as the fonts are just right for me without the need to alter them.  For instance, when I come to Pardus Worldforum website, the size of fonts is large and crisp, whereas  using Firefox the layout and font is on the small size.  I use AltaVista search engine mostly, and going to it with Konqueror is easy on my eyes - nice and big to see!

My tip: Install the NoSquint Add-ons in Firefox.
