Why not, or will you upgrade from Pardus 2008.2 to 2009? Wink

How can I find and add the repositories for python-scipy and jabref (devel-contrib ?).  Both packages existed  in pardus-2008  and contrib-2008.

Cheers

Hello Scott and welcome, Smiley

please look therefore in this Thread

P.S.: You can`t add the 2008 Repos to Pardus 2009. This will give many problems. Wink

With all of the above repositories enabled pisi still does not find Jabref or scipy.

What is the path to 2009-devel binaries and 2009-devel-contrib repository of binaries?
/pisi-index.xml.bz2" target="_blank">http://packages.pardus.org.tr/?Huh?/pisi-index.xml.bz2

The repo URL is masked but I found information about the packages at :

http://packages.pardus.org.tr/info/2009/devel/binary/scipy.html
http://packages.pardus.org.tr/info/contrib/2009/devel/binary/jabref.html

Thanks

I had been getting that error for several days now. Didn't see anyone on the forum with the issue so I did a reinstall last night. I forgot that I had added these repos and that might have been the cause. Will watch for this now.

Strange, unless I am mistaken, I do not get the error? What would that mean?

Code:
Updating repositories
* Updating repository: pardus-2009
pisi-index.xml.bz2.sha1sum     (40.0  B)100%      0.00 --/- [--:--:--] [complete]
pardus-2009 repository information is up-to-date.
* Updating repository: contrib
pisi-index.xml.bz2.sha1sum     (40.0  B)100%      0.00 --/- [--:--:--] [complete]
pisi-index.xml.bz2             (72.0 KB)100%     93.82 KB/s [00:00:00] [complete]
No signature found for http://paketler.pardus.org.tr/contrib-2009/pisi-index.xml.bz2
* Package database updated.
* Updating repository: users
pisi-index.xml.bz2.sha1sum     (40.0  B)100%      0.00 --/- [--:--:--] [complete]
users repository information is up-to-date.
No packages to upgrade.

Hello azra,

he means this:

Code:
* Updating repository: User-2009
System Error. Program Terminated.
File '  http://paketler.pardus-linux.org/users-2009/pisi-index.xml.bz2.sha1sum' not found

The problem should be fixed now, because I wrote this issue to the User-Paketler yesterday. Wink

Hi,
I would like to know if KDE 4.3 packages have been released (official or unofficial) and possibly, the repositories?

Thanks.

Hello,

if the KDE 4.3 packages are ready you will get it over the package-manager as upgrade. Wink
