This is a strange thing I have noticed. I have Pardus 2009 alpha installed on my HP 6530b laptop. I also have an external LCD monitor LP2065. When I use the laptop without the external monitor, everything is fine but when the external monitor is connected, the laptop screen goes very dim.

I have checked that power settings are ok (I am in performance mode) and I am connected to AC power when working.

Everything else works fine but the desktop is unusable because I like to have one large desktop across both my screens.

Btw, I have two other distributions (non-pardus) installed on the same laptop but I notice this dimming only when using Pardus.

I can wait for 2009 final or if someone has any idea, I will be glad :-)

Thank you.

I don't have the same experience with the combination:
MSI Wind U90X-037EU + Philips 220CW9FB or HP LP2475w.
So it isn't a default dual display behaviour.
