Updated to Opera 10 today, but opera refuses to start, and gives an errormessage. Starting it from the command line gives the following:
Code:
opera [crash logging]: CRASH!!
/usr/lib/opera/10.00/opera got signal SIGSEGV at address B764D31A

Log was created here:
/var/tmp/crash20090705153315.log
Dödad (=killed)
Anyone who has run in to the same problem? Or know what to do about it?

I don`t have this problem. Perhaps it helps, if you delete the profil-file of Opera in /home/[your user name]/.opera  Wink

After new start of Opera it will be create a new profil-file.

I am using Pardus 2008.2 too. Wink

Another solution can be, that you reinstall Opera and before you do this, please delete the profil-file of Opera.

I think you installed the pisi-package Opera from the Pardus 2009 Repo. The pisi for Pardus 2008.2 you find in the Contribut-Repo of Pardus 2008

Tried to reinstall after deleting the .opera-dir. Does not work. I'm using the 2008- repo. But I have signed a bug report.

My output from console looks like this, but Opera starts and works fine:

Quote
Andreas@PC-Andreas ~ $ opera
opera: X Shared memory extension is not available. ZPixmap not supported
Andreas@PC-Andreas ~ $
