I configured my DSL after installation with KAPTAN. But every time i restart the machine, this network connection does not start automatically. This problem is only in Pardus 2009x and was not in any of the Pardus 2008x.

What could be the reason?

In order to check whether it is a GUI-related problem, I suggest you delete and recreate your connection in a terminal window.
First take note of all the parameters of your actual, working, connection.
Then, do :
Alt-F2 > Konsole
Code:
network delete NameOfYourConnection
Press ENTER
Code:
network create NameOfYourConnection
Press ENTER
Code:
network start NameOfYourConnection
Press ENTER

After you have verified that your connection is operational, restart your PC to see if it is persistent.

Hey PhiX,

I did as you suggested.
But on restarting the machine, it is the same.

Network does not start automatically.

I need  to start it manually.

If i switch of the modem , It detects this situation and the network goes down.
When i switch it on again, the network start automatcally.

It is only during the boot that there is a problem.

I think you should fill in a bug report.
