If I understand correctly, you don't get the first screen where you can select the language with F2?

My suggestion for this moment.
If your computer is able to start from USB, try to make a USB-version with
this manual.
This also works for Pardus 2009.
In this way you can rule out the (maybe) problems with CD <> CD reader.
When this USB methode is working, it will put your GRUB in the wrong partition.
But you can correct this with the same USB (with the Ctrl+Alt+F1 methode) according to
this manual chapter "With Pardus 2008.x CD"
