If your computer is able to start from USB, try to make a USB-version with this manual
This also works for Pardus 2009.
In this way you can rule out the (maybe) problems with CD <> CD reader.
When this USB methode is working, it will put your GRUB in the wrong partition.
But you can correct this with the same USB (with the Ctrl+Alt+F1 methode) according to this manual
