Hello,

with the setting-up of the network connection my WLAN was recognized and I had
been entered to the key, get however after the call attempt always can no
address refer. There I changed stop times on static and him a firm IP gave.
There it can be connected, but I cannot surf nevertheless.

Cable attached and like to expect with cable no problem.

In the network manager under equipment unknown one indicates, although my USB
adapter Belkin in the info. center was duly recognized.

This I write for another user here, which works with Pardus 2009

Greetings

Hello,

the problem is that the error reads: " NO dhcpoffers recived". It looks in such a way that to the ESSID it lies which contain blanks and special characters with me (Fritz box) and I assume that in the new Kernel any safety changes are built. The problem have some. Now I do not know, how I can solve that.

Greetings
bubbel

Edit: With Pardus and Sidux the same behavior - however no IP, errors connect themselves with rout, receive: " No dhcpoffers recived". Now I recognized nevertheless a whole selection of Distris - Knoppix 6,1 tried with Kernel 2.6.28.5 - absolutely no problem - WLAN and properly connected; Mandriva with Kernel 2.6.29 with the same, positive result.

Hello Bahri16,

thank you for your answer. Wink

I do not think it is a chip problem, since under Pardus 2008.2 the USB stick functions without problems.
