[SOLVED] DVD-Rom not recognised?

Strangely, my dvd device is not recognised at all. I cannot find it anywhere....
When I insert a blank dvd, no window pops up and when I start K3B, it tells me that I do not have a dvd device? When I inseret a music CD, the light blinks, but then nothing?

Any ideas on how to get it working? I am puzzled, since I clearly installed Pardus from a CD!

I have write a bug report before  for a PC with 2 separate cd/DVD units. Maybe someone here have problem with it to?

My other PC have only one DVD/Cd/burner unit and there its no problem at all.

Hum, I will follow the bug.
Maybe I should modify my fstab to include an "sr0" entry?

Good news. The problem with this is solved now with the latest updates.
Works normal when I have tested with Kaffeine.
