Pardus is my preferred distribution.

My current v2008.2 screen + wireless work out-of-the-box

v2009 RC2 screen + wireless not working sadly  :'(
I will wait for final release and try again

v9.04 ubuntu - both work out-of-the-box but
unstable. Neither works for more than a couple of hours?

v9.04 kubuntu - screen works wifi crashes

v2009.1 mandriva - both work out-of-the-box but
generally poor performance compared to Pardus.

If nobody makes a bug report about your wifi issue, it will stay unsolved in the final Pardus 2009 release.

you should info the developers about this, since the problem will exist otherwise also with the final version.

As says PhiX.

Did you install the b43-fwcutter package?

I'm considering Pardus on my HP2133, and I know (a) that package was needed in Kubuntu and (b) it's in the repositories for Pardus (not sure if it's main or contrib).

Note added 3/8/09:
To install the Broadcom firmware, you should follow the instructions for Fedora on http://linuxwireless.org/en/users/Drivers/b43 (with the obvious change of package installer). Then wireless works on my machine although the state LED does not -- it always indicates ON.
