Hi everybody Smiley

I'm new on Pardus (but I'm a linux user for several years)

I bought a new laptop couple month ago (an HP TouchSmart tx2) and two month is enough to kick vista through the windows :p

So I install Pardus 2009 this afternoon but I failed on using the stylus and the touch screen :

when i move my finger the mouse move but don't follow my finger and it's the same with my stylus

after some google research, I've found some webpage where people talk about linuxwacom drivers and ubuntu package to setup the digitizer

Is There same kind of things with pardus ?

I'm not a kernel pro so I don't really understand which step I should skip in the linuxwacom install procedure ... Does anybody ever perform this install and could help me to definitively kick vista ?

thanks again Smiley

P.S. : I apologize for my English, it's not my native language  ...

There is a package called xorg-input-wacom in the test repository. It features the drivers for wacom tablets and input devices.

Hello I'm back online Smiley

I've tried to use the test package but It's completely kill my xorg I think (maybe because I was not using the test repository before ) ...
he only thing I have now is the login screen and the loading (until KDE loading) after black screen
I think I could have access to a console (using ctrl+alt+f1)
I've read that there is a backup Tool using PiSi in Pardus is it right ?
could we use it on console-mode ?
is it a better way than rename the xorg.conf.bkp in xorg.conf don't you think ?

see you soon Smiley
