Hello Ruy,

for install your applications you must first install the following pisi-packages:  Wink

kernel-source, kernel-headers, gcc and make

and then you look into the instruction of the programs, how do you install it.

Greetings
bubbel

Edit: Or you can do this

for install your applications you must first install the following pisi-packages:  Wink

kernel-source, kernel-headers, gcc and make
The above and some more needed packages can be installed through the following command in a Konsole
Code:
sudo pisi it -c system.devel
And have a look in the README file of the .tar.gz for instructions.
Most of the time this is through
Code:
./configure
make
sudo make install
and if you get
Quote
Cannot find <name>!
try to install the missing package with
Code:
sudo pisi it <name>

and for Install wxcam. For Cheese you need Gnome.

Pardus has some applications (base or contrib repositories) that you might find to be as good as or better than some of the ones you are looking for.  wxcam was already mentioned.  It does everything cheese does without the GNOME dependencies.  I actually prefer vlc for my media player over audacious.  Homebank is a good home finance package.  I actually never heard of eqonomize before reading your post.

Anyway, if you check these out you may like them and save yourself some work  Grin

Hello Everybody!
I also prefer the vlc as default player, but as other people use my computer, at which point the audacious is much more friendly.

The wxcam never seen it, it'll test it right now! : D

I already use the home bank for some time, but it is a more complete solution, and for simpler tasks and the lower controls, lower Eqonomize is much more convenient, but two are perfect applications for the control of money!

Thanks!
