I came across this http://svn.pardus.org.tr/browse/playground/igungor/E17/?root=pardus&sortdir=down and am curious if there are any plans to move E17 into the main repos or is there any way for me to install as is. I would love to see E17 running under Pardus.

Hello caber,

you must use http://svn.pardus.org.tr/pardus/  for compilation  Wink

like as:

sudo pisi bi http://svn.pardus.org.tr/pardus/playground/igungor/E17/base/eina/pspec.xml -d

and then sudo pisi it (package-name)

Greetngs

Thanks guys, I might give it a try. I'm really curious if the developers are going to put these packages in or if someone is just playing around Smiley

Hello,

then try this: Roll Eyes

Quote
download all subdirectories & files and you must give the command "pisi bi pspec.xml" in all subdirectories that have pspec.xml and actions.py.

If there is a dependency problem, you have to change pspec.xml.

Greetings

The following is right and I wrote it clearly enough in my answer #1:

sudo pisi bi http://svn.pardus.org.tr/pardus/playground/igungor/E17/base/eina/pspec.xml -d

I guess bubbel means that you took the wrong URL in order to build the packages.

I must admit I had to read his comment a couple of times but there is a difference (e.g. subfolder /browse/  should not be in the URL).

Sometimes the english vocabulaire of bubbel (native german) can be (hopefully unintended) a bit offensive at first sight  Cheesy

When /pardus gave a fetch error I tried /browse which was a direct copy/paste from the link I posted and seemed to fetch actual files off the server. Thanks for your time, I'll try another day.

Indeed it does not build the PISI packages correctly:

Too bad. I'll be more than happy to test any packages on my system if they come available .

from both http://svn.pardus.org.tr/pardus/playground/igungor/E17/base/evas/ and http://svn.pardus.org.tr/browse/playground/igungor/E17/base/evas/

I could try another, but it would be pointless without all the base packages.
