It was lastest svn version of sopcast..
I think this is a vlc bug and there is not enough solution yet..

well, for now I am satisfied by enabling use external player and replacing mplayer (default) by vlc, it then opens a VLC interface (including control buttons).
This means I do not use the internal/built-in player, but that is not really a problem,I am alreeady very happy to be able to play sopcast streams a bit more easily  Cheesy

BTW From previous efforts trying to play sopcast streams I remember it actually always needed VLC to get things working...
