HI Hendrikus,

As for using sha1sum to check verification, you would do this command in terminal:
Code:
sudo pisi check
It takes a while for it to check all programs, and I do it while connected to internet, though I'm not sure if it needs to be, but I got all outputs
"* Checking pisi. . . OK"
I see one was corrupt for me,
"* Checking sun-jre...
Corrupt file: /opt/sun-jdk/jre/bin/ControlPanel"  Grin

I don't see that version of 2.2.1-2 , if you look here:
http://packages.pardus.org.tr/pardus-2009/
Sorry, but I don't know what "zynaddsubfx" translates to?

We shall see what further help you get at bug report.  Maybe they will have you manually install package-manager and/or pisi.
Maybe you can send them a full history of your pisi updates.
Regards, Lisa Marie

Hello Lisa

Code:
hendrikus@pardus ~ $ sudo pisi check
Wachtwoord:
Controleren alle geïnstalleerde pakketten
Systeemfout: programma beëindigd.

Gebruik pisi help voor algemene hulp.
Gebruik --debug voor een terugloop.
hendrikus@pardus ~ $

The same and the same outcomes again and agian.
Systeemfout: programma beëindigd. #systemfalt: program terminated.

Gebruik pisi help voor algemene hulp. # Use pisi help for help etc.......

I think Pisi isn't anylonger in my live? What do you think?

But Lisa you are helping my so good, but don't worry i am not depending alone on this Pardus 2009 version.
On my laptop and desktops i have more Pardus versions with partitions off Pardus 2008.2 and 2009.

So now i am will wait for what they can do with my bugreport.

Hendrikus, sometimes I go off on wrong limb, so be forewarned.   Cheesy  I try to solve puzzles.

Besides sending "pisi hs" attachement to bug report, you might also include a copy of
.package-manager.log
located in your home folder (hidden file).

You can, and should, attach it as a file.
Also, add LC_ALL=C before your commands, it will be easier to solve your problem then.

Good luck!

Hendrikus,
When it is convenient, can you send the
"pisi hs" attachement to the bug report showing all of your updates and package installs.

I am also curious if you try this in terminal (may be you already tried this):
Code:
package-manager
which should take a few seconds to bring up the GUI.

Also, try in terminal:
Code:
pisi info package-manager
I would also expect it to give you an error.

I did, just a page back, http://worldforum.pardus-linux.nl/index.php?topic=3123.msg15559#msg15559

Code:
pisi it THIS_WILL_DO_NO_GOOD
Quote
Programmet avbröts.
Du måste vara root för den här åtgärden.
Vänligen använd 'pisi help' för allmän hjälp.
Använd --debug för att se en bakåtspårning.

Code:
LC_ALL=C pisi it THIS_WILL_DO_NO_GOOD
Quote
Program Terminated.
You have to be root for this operation.
Please use 'pisi help' for general help.
Use --debug to see a traceback.

I tryed to install Pardus 2009 on a PC today. But the Pisi/updating after installing not working.

So I will wait to version 2009.1 are released. I hope this problem are solved then.
But I am little worried. I think the time between the beta,  RC and the real version are to short.
Is it enough time to test everyting?

It was a lot of bugs when they released version 2009, so I hope it not be the same this time. Undecided
