I was working on gis related packages some time ago, not all of them are ready
and in repos. If you're in a hurry, its safe to compile gis related ones from
my playground (for 2009), you'll have to compile dependencies too, look at
pspec.xml files and compile dependencies and qgis.

http://svn.pardus.org.tr/pardus/playground/isbaran/

compliation as:

sudo pisi bi
http://svn.pardus.org.tr/pardus/playground/isbaran/package/pspec.xml

replace package with correct path.

I'll try to get them in repos asap, some of them are in review.

So you can make a try to compile this (Grass is one of the dependecies that Qgis need)

Thanks for the answer. Some people have asked me if they can have Google Earth and Grass (or some similar program like Grass) in Pardus.
Google Earth are included in Linux Mint 8 program handler so it would be possible to have it in Pardus to I guess.
So I have also write 2 request for them. I hope they could be included in Pisi or Contrib to version 2009.1 atleast:

And unlike GIS data there are also a number of GPS related PISI packages in the Pardus repositories amongst which (at my previous requests) GPSd and Merkaartor (OpenStreetMap editor).
