Seems that i messed up my pisi by trying to fix the broken repositories  :'(
Now when i launc pisi, it loads in the taskbar (no tray icon) and it suddenly desapears without showing the package manager window.
Is there any way that i can roll back pisi to its initial state (like after a frsh instalation)Huh?
Thnx in advance!

Hello,

with the command pisi rebuild-db in console you can do it.  Wink

Andreas thnx for the tip!

I did that but it didn't fix the problem. As soon as I launch the package manager it apears in the taskbar for some seconds (no tray icon next to the clock), and then it desapears all of a sudden. Another thing that I noticed is that in the start menu, the package manager shortcut has been moved from the system category, to the lost and found  Huh?

Thnx again for the support!

What output do you get when starting it from Konsole?
Code:

Hello la_monda,

I asked the developer Serdar and here his answer:  Wink

Quote
The repository called "pardus friends" is wrong

pardus friends [active]
   http://paketler.pardus-linux.org/P2009-free/

Because it does not point to a valid pisi-index.xml file.

Pisi can not find pisi-index.xml of pisi-index.xml.bz2 file at this address:  http://paketler.pardus-linux.org/P2009-free/ because this address is not an uri of a file, but a directory.

BTW, I wonder how that user managed to add a repo with that address to his/her machine. This exceptional case should be catched on package-manager or PiSi side.

Anyway, the solution is

sudo pisi rr "pardus friends"

as nkoc said. Thanks for your collaboration and have a good day!! Smiley

Greetings
Andreas
